Terms and Conditions of Equipment Rental:
Definitions:
Max rider weight 125kg
1. “We,” “US,” or “Ezy Mobility Pty Ltd” pertains to the entity providing equipment rental services.
2. “You” or “The renter” refers to the individual or entity renting the equipment.
3. “Equipment” encompasses any rental equipment and accessories.
4. “Short-term rentals” indicate rentals lasting less than one month.
5. “Long-term rentals” refer to rentals extending over one month.
6. “Rent-to-own” denotes our rent-to-own package.
Rental Period:
1. The rental period commences on the date when the equipment is sent, collected, or delivered to you, whichever occurs first.
2. The rental period concludes upon the return of the equipment to us
3. In the event of equipment return before the agreed rental period expires, the rental fee shall be calculated for the entire period specified in the agreement.
If you extend the rental period or return late extra days rental will be charged at the rate of $18pd
If you are not home when we arrive to pick you up and have to make a second trip to Collect a fee of $37 will apply. The extra days rental may also apply.
4. You are obligated to inform us via email if you relocate or change the address where the equipment is kept.
5. Throughout the rental period, you are responsible for any damages not covered by the warranty. In cases of loss, theft, or damage, you remain responsible for the full purchase price of the rented equipment or in the case of a Rent-To-Own rental the full balance of the rental agreement.
6. We recommend adding equipment to your home and contents insurance policy for your protection.
7. A late payment fee of $15 per month or part thereof applies to any missed or declined payments. If you change your credit or debit card, you must provide the new card information before the next billing cycle.
8. If your arrears exceed 3 days, we have the option to terminate this agreement. In such a scenario, we will notify you via email, granting three days to rectify the breach or arrears. If you do not rectify this breach we may immediately cancel this agreement and you must immediately return the equipment to us, resulting in the forfeiture of all funds paid. You may also be liable for any arrears, cancellation fees, damages, or full purchase price of the equipment in the event of non-return and any pickup or collection expenses.
9. You authorise us to charge your payment method on file with any chargers or rental due in terms of this agreement.
Long-Term Rental:
Rentals exceeding one month are considered long-term and will automatically renew each month, We will automatically change your payment method provided each month. You can cancel at any time. No refund of any rental paid for the current month. Rental’s
Rent-To-Own:
a. The rental period spans an initial deposit followed by 15 monthly payments, after which, if all payments are current, rentals will automatically convert to an outright purchase and the equipment is yours to own, with no further payments required.
b. An initial payment of $200 is payable upon delivery, followed by 15 monthly instalments of $390 per month payable in arrears.
c. The equipment remains the property of Ezy Mobility Pty Ltd until the successful completion of the rental period and all payments are made.
10. Cancellation:
Rent-to-Own;
e. You have the option to cancel this agreement at any time, subject to these conditions.
a. You have paid all rental fees due.
b. You give us notice of a request to cancel by email.
a. A minimum cancellation fee equal to one month’s rental is payable.
c. You remain responsible for any arrears and damage to the equipment.
11. Cancellations for casual rentals:
a. For rentals of under one month rental fees are payable at the time of booking. For Rentals over one month, rental is charged each month in advance.
b. If you cancel within 7 days of the rental start date. No refund. If you cancel more than 7 days from the rental start date cancellation fee of $50 will apply.
For rentals of over one month the last month will be charged at $18pd capped at the monthly rental.
The equipment is delivered in good condition, and you must inspect and test it, along with any accessories such as battery chargers or helmets,
Report any defects or damages within six hours to [email protected],
Fees for lost items. Lost keys or remotes are $95 Each. The lost charger is $175, the Helmet is $39.00, and any other damage is subject to quote.
Care & Responsibility:
You are responsible for maintaining the equipment in proper condition, with reasonable wear and tear accepted.

11. Airport meet and greet. A delivery fee of $37 per airport delivery and pickup will apply.
Brisbane and Gold coast airports only. Airports allow us 30 minutes of waiting time for meet and greet and drop off. If you or your flight are delayed over 30 minutes after ETA an extra waiting/parking charge of $28 per hour or part thereof will apply.
